Add A Daily Horoscope to your Digital Billboard Dynamic Creatives

 
 

Adding the Data Source


  1. Navigate to the Account you wish to add the Daily Horoscope application.

  2. Click Apps & Data.

  3. Click Add New.

  4. Use the search bar to find Daily Horoscope and select it.

  5. Click Allow to allow the app access to adding posts / photos, etc. to this account.

  6. You will still need to attach a template and post the ad (shown below) before it will play on your screens.

 

Attaching a Template to the Data Source


  1. From the Data Source Settings, using the tabs along the top, switch to the Templates tab.

  2. Click on Choose Default Template and select the template you wish to use (This application comes with a pre-made template that you can use if you wish, named My Daily Horoscope).

 

Creating a New Template and Attaching it to the Data Source


  1. Click Templates on the left menu.

  2. If you wish to create a new template, click Create a New Template.

  3. This will be a Data Connected Template, so select that, Article, and whichever board formats you wish to create for, then click Next.

  4. Select New and click Create.

  5. Create the template how you wish it to look. The data will be under Dynamic Data Elements, you may want to use Title, Description, and Item Image.

  6. To preview your work, under Dynamic Data Elements, select Preview Item. Then you can find the Horoscope under Articles usually named: "Sign Horoscope Date" with sign and date changing based on what sign you have added and today's date.

  7. Name your template by clicking on the pencil on the top left of the screen.

  8. When you are done with your template, go back to Apps & Data from the menu on the left side of the screen.

  9. Click on the Daily Horoscope Data Source.

  10. Using the tabs along the top, switch to the Templates tab.

  11. Click on Choose Default Template and select the new template you just created.

 

Posting the Ad


  1. From the Data Source Settings, using the tabs along the top, make sure you are on the Settings tab. and scroll down to Campaigns.

  2. When you are ready for your ad to be posted to your campaign, click Automatic and make sure the correct campaign is toggled on.

  3. Your ad will now be posted to your campaign and will start showing up on your digital screens.
