How to create dynamic digital billboard creatives with fuel / gas prices using the PriceAdvantage App

 
 

Adding the Data Source


  1. Navigate to the Account you wish to add the PriceAdvantage application.

  2. Click Apps & Data.

  3. Click Add New.

  4. Use the search bar to find PriceAdvantage Fuel Prices and select it.

  5. Click Allow to allow the app access to adding posts / photos, etc. to this account.

  6. You will need to enter in some Feed Settings so the application can connect to your PriceAdvantage software.

  7. Type in your Unique Customer Identifier, Store Number, Username, and Password, then click Save Changes.

    1. You can get your Unique Customer Identifier, Store Number(s), Username and Password from your internal IT Team OR from your Price Advantage Account Rep - Please contact Price Advantage for more information on setting up these credentials for your specific stores(s).

  8. The data will now be automatically pulled in for your use - use the template designer to create ads with this data.

 

Using a Template


  1. Click Templates on the left menu.

  2. You will see that the application may have added one or more new templates for you to use.

  3. If you wish to use an existing template, click the template and click Post Ad, and then Create. - This will post the existing ad to your campaign.

  4. If you wish to edit an existing template, click the template and click Duplicate & Edit. - You can now update the name of the ad, add any images/text boxes or remove anything you want.

 

Creating a Template


  1. Click Templates on the left menu.

  2. If you wish to create a new template, click Create a New Template.

  3. This will be a Post Template, so select that and whichever board formats you wish to create for, then click Next.

  4. Select New and click Create.

  5. Create the template how you wish it to look. The data will be under Dynamic Data Elements, scroll down until PriceAdvantage Fuel Prices for any data elements you may wish to use.

  6. Name your template by clicking on the pencil on the top left of the screen.

 

Posting an Ad with Dynamic Elements


  1. After you've added the application, you can post an ad.

  2. From your account's home page, click Post Ad.

  3. Select Dynamic Template and click Next.

  4. Select which template you want to use and click Next.

  5. Some templates will have you enter in some text and/or photo.

  6. Click Create after making sure the ad looks good.

  7. The ad is now posted to your campaign and will run on your screens.
