How To Schedule Lucit in Apparatix (old version)

Important Concepts

The Apparatix system has a tight integration with the Lucit platform allowing you to schedule Lucit campaigns as easily as any other campaign that you schedule within the Apparatix system


Overview of Process

You will

  1. Create your contract / posting in Apparatix

  2. Copy down the ID number for the Contract

  3. Attach the Contact ID number to the Lucit campaign inside of the Lucit application



  1. Apparatix Support Team has enabled Lucit on your Apparatix Installation

  2. You have requested the type of BEHAVIOR that you want to enable from the Apparatix Contract. Fixed and Network are common ones to request during setup with Apparatix Support Team

  3. Apparatix Support team has provided Lucit Support team with your company’s Contract Prefix Code

  4. The Client and Campaign has been created in Lucit

  5. You have scheduled the Contract / Posting in Apparatix



In Apparatix

Ensure that the Contract Class is set to either Lucit Regular, WF_Lucit or Lucit Network

Repeat the same process on the SubContract (set it to the same as the Contract)

Finally, set the Contract Class of the Postings to WF_Lucit

Then be sure to copy the CONTRACT id number that appears as we will use this number in the next step to connect the campaigns


In Lucit

  • Login to Lucit, and make sure you are in the Operator account you manage by checking on the top right corner of the screen.

  • Click Campaigns.

  • Scroll down and find the campaign you with to link.

  • Click Link Player

  • Under the first section called “Apparatix” type in the contract ID from the previous steps.



Contract DOES NOT show a recent datetime for Last Communication OR the Last Communication is really old (a long time ago).

One thing that helps to know what might be happening is the “Last Communication” section which shows the last time that this contract was pulled by Apparatix.

In this case, it is blank meaning we have not received any pulls from Apparatix for this contract ID – So, when it was scheduled, they either:

  1. Gave the wrong contract ID.

  2. Missed a step during creating the Apparatix contract.

  3. Something is wrong with Apparatix side.

If this DOES show a last communication date/time that is recent (within the past), but there are no plays happening, it will be one of the following scenarios.

  1. If it has been less than 20 minutes since it started pulling the first time, wait and check again.

  2. Double check that the right screens are selected.

  3. Double check that the screen ids are correct.

  4. Double check that the campaign is not empty and has creatives.


Changing an EXISTING Apparatix Contract to Lucit

  1. Remove "Last Period Billed" under "Billing Configuration" on the subcontracts level. (Save this information)

  2. Navigate to postings level and switch "Contract Class" to Lucit.

  3. Navigate back to the subcontract level and add the "Last Period Billed" back into the contract. (saved info from step 1)
