Tips for Real Estate and Automotive Creatives

Data driven templates give your dealership and brokerage clients dynamic changing creatives, and increases your renewal rates by up to 3x

Data Driven

With Lucit data driven creatives – you load a single template for the client, and everything after that happens automatically and is controlled by the client.

Templates

First, know that a ‘template‘ is a creative with dynamic areas for a photo, text, or data that can be filled in through an automatic data feed connection or manual entry from a Lucit user.

Think about the advertiser that the template is being created for.

Let’s assume the advertiser is an automotive dealership, and the template will be automatically connected to the dealer management software.  Make space for any of the fields that the advertiser will want on the creative such as vehicle photo, title (often year, make and model), price, etc. Often graphic designers will use fake data to see what the template is going to look like. The best way to do this is go to their actual website and choose an actual used vehicle that they have for sale as the source of ‘data.’ This way, the template is being created with the format that their photos are in, rather than with stock photos that are not even close to reflecting what the dealership’s photos will look like. With the example below, this dealership has more square shaped photos of their used inventory, so their template had to accommodate that.

This concept remains the same for any data feed connection.

Real Estate Templates

With real estate brokerages, the template will be automatically connected to the MLS data feed for their properties.  Make space for any of the fields that the advertiser will want on the creative such as agent photo, name, email, phone number, listing address, price, photo, etc. Look at the brokerage website to see what the agent headshots look like, and keep that in mind as the template is created. With the example below, this brokerage had a blue background for their agents’ headshots so the template had to look good with a blue background behind all the agent headshots.
